Terms of Use

B-MAD helps you keep a simple record of what you eat, your water, weight and steps, and gives estimated calories and nutrients. Your diary is stored on your phone. Some optional features, such as the AI food assistant and meal photo scanning, use our online service.

You must be 18 or older. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have or have had an eating disorder, or are under medical care that affects what you eat, use B-MAD only with guidance from a qualified health professional. When you choose one of these situations during setup, B-MAD does not set automatic calorie targets; you can still use it to keep track.

B-MAD is not medical advice and is not a medical device. Calorie targets, weight estimates, nutrition values, step calories and AI answers are general estimates for healthy adults. They can be wrong and are not a diagnosis or treatment plan. Talk to a doctor or registered nutritionist-dietitian before making major changes to how you eat or exercise, especially if you have diabetes, heart, kidney or other conditions, or take medicine.

Stop and seek professional help if tracking makes you anxious, if you feel unwell, or if you notice signs of disordered eating. In an emergency, contact local emergency services; B-MAD cannot help in an emergency.

• Nutrition values come from B-MAD’s small starter food list, from labels you enter, or from AI estimates. Each entry keeps the values used when you saved it.
• AI and photo estimates are marked as estimates. Portions, brands and cooking methods change real values, so review them before saving.
• Reference food pictures from Wikipedia are illustrations only and never change your numbers.
• Step calories and walking suggestions are calculated from your saved weight, height and recent activity. They are estimates, not a measured burn, and are never added to your food allowance.
• No result is guaranteed: B-MAD does not promise any weight, fat or health outcome.

• The AI assistant is an optional test feature. It may make mistakes, so check its answers before you rely on them.
• You join with your email and a sign-in code. Free trials have limits on length and number of replies, shown in the app; one free trial per email.
• While you test, your Food chat messages are shared with us as described in the Privacy Policy. You can turn this off.
• We may change, pause or end the AI service.

What you enter stays yours. You let us process it only to run the features you use, and, for shared test messages, to improve B-MAD. Do not enter other people’s personal information. You are responsible for keeping backups: data stored only on your phone can be lost if the phone or app is lost, reset or removed.

Keep your phone, your email and any website password secure; you are responsible for activity using them. Tell us at support@trybmad.com if you think someone else has used your account or AI sign-in.

Do not misuse B-MAD: no attempts to break, overload, reverse-engineer or get around its limits; no automated or bulk access to the AI service; no sharing your AI sign-in; and nothing unlawful, harmful or abusive. We may suspend AI access that breaks these rules.

The B-MAD name, logo, illustrations, app and website design and software belong to us or our licensors. You may use the app and website for your own personal, non-commercial use. These terms do not give you any other right to copy, modify or distribute them.

B-MAD works with services we do not control, including Apple Health, Health Connect, OpenAI, Wikipedia and your phone’s app store. Their own terms and policies apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for their availability or content.

Where available, Plus is purchased through Google Play or the Apple App Store. The store shows your localized price and billing period before you pay. Monthly and yearly plans include up to 20 AI replies per day, resetting at midnight Philippine time. Unused daily replies do not carry over. Internet is required; outages and service limits can temporarily affect availability.

Your store account is charged when you confirm. Subscriptions renew automatically for the selected period unless cancelled in your store settings. Manage cancellation and refund requests through the store. Cancellation normally keeps access until the paid period ends; refunds or revoked purchases may end access earlier. Restore purchases using the same B-MAD email and store account. Deleting your app, diary or AI data does not cancel billing. The local diary, water and progress features remain free. These paid plans do not include a free trial.

If you got B-MAD from the Apple App Store or Google Play, these terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google, and we, not they, are responsible for B-MAD and its support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Their store terms also apply.

B-MAD is provided as it is and as available, especially while features are being tested, and we do not promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, or decisions made from estimates in the app, and our total liability for any claim about B-MAD is limited to what you paid us for B-MAD in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Philippine consumer law that cannot be waived.

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version, and significant changes will be shown in the app or on this site before they apply. You can stop using B-MAD at any time and delete your data as described in Delete your data.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and disputes belong to the courts of the Philippines unless the law gives you another choice. Before going to court, please email us first so we can try to solve the problem. Questions about these terms: support@trybmad.com.
